The lights on the Jeep (the owners named it George years ago) do not work. They worked when it was last parked (5-7 years ago). We probably don't have the switches set/turned correctly. Is there a certain way these switches should be set? Thanks for any advice.
We are getting new correct tires today. Plus a fuel filter and gas sender. Those plus a carb kit we have hopefully should let us crank ole George up. It turns over good and we got the stuck valve unstuck. Got the radiator boiled out. The owners had a new NOS gas tank (the deceased father was a franchise Jeep dealer in Jackson, Ms back in the 60's to the mid 70's.)

Under the Downloads above are links to many manuals including the
Bendix three lever light switch.

Wes also has a wealth of knowledge in his photo pages.

Just sitting for a long time can cause enough corrosion to build up
between connectors to keep many things from working.

There are plenty of troubleshooting guides, but yes you need to
know in what position the levers need to be to make the lights come on.

Are the bulbs good?

Occam was a genius.
Take care,
