I have a '52 M38A1 that I purchased about three or four months ago. It came with some parts that look like 12V and I want to make it 24V. If I were to get the caseing for a 24V disributor, can I take the parts from a 12V distributor and build a 24V distributor? What would I need to do that?

If it has the 12 volt internal coil that is mounted inside the distributor you can install a 24 volt coil and reuse the distributor casing. If it has a 12 volt commercial distributor you can't and will need to get a complete military distributor.
