I've got a good tool box lid but the hinges are missing.
Anybody know where to get them?
Thanks reddog

They were pretty much off the shelf hardware
hinges. Get a good dimension or two, a couple of
good photos, and head for your local hardware
store.

It would be nice to get plain steel. The cad or zinc
plating is a pain to weld and you don’t want to
breathe any of those fumes!

Take care,
Brian

Hydrochloric acid AKA muriatic acid will dissolve the zinc if you want it gone. Be mindful of the toxic fumes though.
Is the other half of the hinge still attached to tub? If so, I doubt you will find anything at the hardware store to match. You'll probably have to remove that half to get anything else to work.
When welding on the hinges I'd run a straight piece of wire the same size as the hinge pin, temporarily, all the way through both hinges so they are aligned. That is, if they aren't staked in place.
