Have the YS 637 Carb. One of the screws is stripped on the main body. Is there any repair available for this? Its one of the screws that secure the throttle body to the main body.

After looking carefully at the hole, it has already been drilled and tapped for a 10/32 helicoil and that heilcoil has come out with the screw. I inserted a 10/32 tap and it falls right into the hole. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Try inserting another helicoil of the same type. If that doesn't hold up then there are larger solid inserts that us a very slightly larger hole.

After a week of catch up I find the screws are actually 12/28". Now to find a reasonably priced repair kit. Thanks for the assist.
