I think I've read all the discussions on fuel pumps and still unsure of compatibility. Before I rebuild and install, trying to figure out if the 9810 pump and 5592295 arm are compatible. Installing on '52 M38.

Since the 9810 pump is introduced in the M38A1 ORD 9 SNL G-758 you should be referencing that manual instead of the M38 ORD 9 SNL G-740 manual. Yes it is the correct arm as shown in the M38A1 ORD 9 and yes any of the pumps listed in both ORD 9's will function on both the M38 & the M38A1.

Reference: ORD 9 SNL G-758 page 80 last item on page shows arm 5592295 is compatible with pump ORD# 8329705. On page 82 ORD# 8329705 represents AC# 1539810.
