The PO of my '51 M38 had a set of IH Lock-O-Matic locking hubs on the Dana 25. I am rebuilding from the knuckles out. When I removed the Locking hubs I found them trashed on the inside - these are not going back on!

In my spare parts pile I found a pair of olive drab 6 hole, 10 spline drive hubs with hub caps. When I removed the hub caps, I found a rubber gasket (or o-ring) around the base of the hub where it mates to the hub cap. These may have been supplied by the PO when I bought it, but I am not sure

Does the rubber gasket confirm that it is for the M38 series? Are these a "go" for my Dana 25??
Thanks Jeff

If they fit they will work. The original installation did not have the outer seal 8329732 and the inner seal was a 500128 in the M38's 1951 ORD 9 but updated to 8329731 in the M38's 55 ORD 9.

Great drawing, Wes, thanks.

The hubs seem to fit well. I got some new 1 1/2" bolts and lock washers. I am cleaning them up and running with them - score one for originality!

Jeff
