I am in the process of working on the Dash for my '54 M-38A1 and have the windshield "J" hooks ready to mount and cannot find the backing plates that go inside the dash to bolt them to. (PO had disassembled the jeep and I had cans of hardware to go thru, most was beyond salvage) I cannot find them listed in the SNL, but I know they are used. Can someone post a photo of what they look like so I can make a set out of 3/16" plate... This will also allow me to know what I am looking for in the boxes / cans of parts....

Thanks Wes, I was going thru some parts boxes last night and found one of them, the other one must be there somewhere. Just need to check the remaining boxes and floor (The box was in sad shape that I found it in)
