I got a pile of parts when I bought my M38. I am happy to report that I am getting close to actually driving mine, and am working on the interior and top.

In the pile I pulled out a serviceable looking top bow comprised of two side pieces with swinging arm (left and right), and two curved top bows that bridge the two side pieces. I really never looked close at these until now.

They generally look right for an M38, but the bottom of the two pieces that should slip into the center tow bow slot on each side of the M38 is wrong, or perhaps I am missing a piece. The bottom of each "Y" piece has an aluminum block that is about 1" square - no provision for mounting in the stock M38 socket.

Anybody with any hints or ideas let me know. I have thought of a couple of ways to adapt them using WESK's gallery drawings made by "JAM"

Jeff
