Well folks, I am planning on attending the Little Rock Convention and I know that there are a few more planning on attending... Very Happy

To help me defray costs I am looking into a sponsorship from my employer, nothing guaranteed, but got nothing to loose by asking. Confused

What I would like to know is, would there be interest in a patch to be sewn to a vest/shirt etc to identify ourselves as members of the Willys Military Jeeps group... Smile

I am willing to look into getting say a hundred made up if there is interest and folks are willing to pay cost for them, I am not looking to profit from this it is a way to identify ourselves and our group...

Wes/Ryan do you folks have a design you would like to see done? Maybe the M-38 in the second frame of the strip at the top of the website...

Comments...

A good place to get them printed up would be scoutproducts.com I know they do a great job on the patches for my district. Not sure what they would do for a non scouting patch

That sounds like a good idea! A patch for a shirt would work good for me since I havent met any of you guys yet Very Happy

By the way, any body traveling down I-40 to get to Little Rock, Russellville is 71 miles northwest on the same interstate. Im just about 3-4 miles off of the interstate. If anybody wants to stop by and take a look at my jeep let me know. I hope to have it almost done by then.

that sounds like a good idea to me. Any ideas from anyone on the design?

Post a picture here so we can work together.

I'll certainly take 3 or 4 but I have worry.......
over here people will spend millions of pounds mechanically restoring a steam engine and then fight to the death over tuppence hapenny of paint and what colour it should be painted.

It'll be a tough order to come up with an original design so good luck and happy doodleling.
All the best,
Dave

Yes, that is a good idea.

Actually a patch representative of the entire group would need to address all the model jeeps we represent on the group's title.

It may be better to go with a simple "Willys M Jeeps" theme rather then all models or any single model.

How about something generic, like this:

Instead of "SALES-SERVICE", put "M-JEEPS"

I'll take a couple!
