So I ordered 4 intake and 4 exhaust valves for a L134 from a dealer and I get 8 valves that look the same to me...

Except 4 are magnetic and 4 are not but otherwise the same.

I'm told by dealer that intake are magnetic ones and rest is exhaust.

Shouldn't there be size differences as well between them??
thickness, diameter, length???

Hi Pierre,
Complete valve specs and dimensions for the L134 are listed in the Willys Service Manual SM-1002-R6, paragraph D-104 Engine Specifications, on pages 54-56.

If it helps, here's a link to a pdf copy of that manual: http://48cj2a.com/images/manuals/UniversalServiceManualForJeepVehicles.pdf

Yes, the dimensions aren't the same.
A micrometer will tell you which are intake and which are exhaust --- and therefore for sure which are magnetic and which aren't.

Good luck!

Thanks Ron, page 55 has all the measurements if anybody's interested.

Turns out they sent me 8 magnetic valves... Rolling Eyes
