I have finally accepted the fact that I don't have time for 4 jeeps. This project is a little above my skill level anyway. I have a fairly complete ford gpw. There are f marks everywhere. Data plates, frame and yes the original ford engine all match. I replaced the plugs, coil and wires. I had the starter rebuilt. I bought a new 6 volt battery. I can get the engine to crank, but not fire... well actually one loud pop. 5 combat rims, bows, brackets, hood numbers. Engine was rebuilt in Dallas in 1959. I have the shops plate stating such. Major drawback is that the tub is rusted through. Will need substantial body work, but is worth saving. Also there is no windshield. I have it listed on craigslist here in Houston Tx. I could be convinced to deliver just about anywhere for a fee. Please contact me via email as I don't check my messages on this site very often.

I have not listed the information from this jeep on this site.

Forgot to add that I went through the trouble and got a bonded transferable title in my name.

Cant believe you decided to sell it. If I had the money I would help you out and it would be close delivery.

The jeep has been sold (pending funds of course) to a guy in England.
This vehicle's journey is not over yet.

Congratz on the sale.

It's just my opinion, but the Lend-Lease days of WWII are over. I see too many items and vehicles going back overseas.

They will most likely never again be seen by US veterans or children. No more displays at local events or in local parades.

I don't see that much of a difference based on the influx from Europe the past 5 years. It's a two way street. The market and the economy on each side of the Atlantic is what usually dictates the volume of movement in each direction. This is common with all marketable items and not just US built war relics. The items will always move more in the direction of the country with the strongest currency at that particular time.
