SCOTTSBURG, INDIANA, JUNE 11-12, 2005 — Scott County Heritage Center & Museum presents HERITAGE GARRISON WEEKEND , a time line living history event with special exhibits and demonstrations on the Museum grounds June 11-12, 2005. The Scott County Heritage Center and Museum is across from the National Guard Armory at 1050 S. Main St., Scottsburg, IN! Small event with fire wood, water, and straw. Camp Talent Show set for Saturday night at the Museum! Bring your instruments or special act and take part in the fun! All time periods from ancient times to 1975 are welcome to attend. Period camps are encouraged. There will be infantry and artillery demonstrations, camp life, special presentations, skirmishes, and a chance to meet other reenactors from other time periods! This year's special feature will be the first annual Time Line Cook Off! Taste history for the first time as fellow reenactors of various time periods show their best in camp cooking! There will be modest prizes for the best in main course, sides, and deserts. Overall winner will receive the coveted "Bronzed Ladle"!
