I have an NOS M38 early 4004 distributor available to trade for an NOS 4006.
I have not completely researched this but it looks like the 4004 was available before radio suppression was reloacted into the distributor (done in the 4006).

IA4006UT through end of M38 production.
IA4006AUT was introduced with the M38A1 and was eventually the only supply stocked replacement unit for both jeeps.
IA4004UT was used with the firewall mounted noise filter and special cable from the firewall unit to the distributor. _________________ Wes K
