Well i fixed the steering like you said wesk, i ordered all the parts! Works freggin GREAT i appreciate it. But now the thing putters and doesn't like to run right and it back fired for the very first time. About a foot long or even more actaully flame shoots out and rattles the neighbors windows. I'm very upset. I cannot believe this! Its one thing RIGHT AFTER the other. I busted a break line with i was re-installing the new gear box. So to say the least the test drive was verrrrry interesting LOL. Geeze i'm so glad money grows on trees Rolling Eyes !

But i'm not sure what would cause a engine to back fire. If you remember me telling you about the gas in the oil problem, well its back but not quite as bad, could this be the same problem coming back to haunt me? Tell me what you think guys, i'm all ears.

Once again, Thanks.

Justen W.

Well, start at the easy spot. Take the cover off the distributor and check point gap. Then get the service manual out and hit the troubleshooting chapter starting with runs rough. Step by step and take your time. Did I say Take Your Time!
