The Great Willys Picnic
June 8, 2008 from 10 am - 3 pm
Big Pocono State Park
Tannersville, PA

Get ready for the annual Great Willys Picnic and car show. Spring will be here before you know it. All vehicles are welcome: stock, modified, projects, CJs, Wagons, Trucks, Jeepsters, Military, Cars, and even GPW's! Bring your Willys memorabilia and interesting parts for show and tell. We will have a people’s choice contest and an informal swap meet (items for sale in back of vehicles only - no tables allowed). The Picnic is always free - No registration is necessary. There are plenty of barbecues, picnic tables and trees - bring your own lunch. Big Pocono State Park is on top of the mountain above Camelback Ski Area. It offers magnificent views of eastern Pennsylvania and portions of New Jersey and New York. For those members of the family who are not interested in Willys vehicles there are 7 miles of hiking trails in the park. At the base of the mountain is Camelback Waterpark and The Crossings factory outlet stores.

Driving Directions
I-80 to Exit 299 (old exit 45) Tannersville. (Follow the signs to Big Pocono State Park, Camelback Ski Area and Camelbeach Waterpark.)
Turn right at the end of the ramp on Route 715 N.
At the first light turn left on Sullivan Trail (PA 4002).
Go 1 mile and make a left turn on Camelback Rd (PA 4006).
Drive 4 miles up the mountain. You will pass the ski area and Water Park and continue into Big Pocono State Park. Make a right turn onto the one way loop road.
The Picnic will be in the first parking area on the one way loop road. (Please plan to park tow vehicles and trailers in the second parking lot to free up much needed space)

If you are planning to attend, bring a vehicle, or have any questions please send an e-mail to 52cj3a@gmail.com

We will see you there!
