Can someone recommend a machine shop in the Atlanta area (pref. NW area - Marietta) that does a good job with our type of work? Right now, I just want a place that can hot-tank my axle housing, but want to start building a relationship for eventual engine work.

Alpha North Trucks (don't have the number handy - I think they're just north of Alpharetta on Rt 9). They know old trucks and jeeps like the back of their hand and are good and honest people to deal with. When I was living near there (about 8 years ago) I used them a lot and I recently sent a buddy there and he had a great experiences too.

If they can't help you they will tell you who can.
