I picked up a parts jeep and am selling everything I dont need from it to finish mine.
Here are the good things found so far
1) 5 orginal wheels, one that is damaged where the stud goes through for the lug, makes a good spare, other in ecellent shape.
2) Complete 24 volt setup to get you keep back from the 12 volt coversion, includes gauges, gauge panel, some wirring, reg, gen, gen to reg cable, and starter, and dist.
3) Good complete windshield frame
4) Good frame
5) Front end and rear end apper to be good
6) Leaf springs appear to be good.
7) Tranny and transfer are unkown, but complete
Fuel tank is in need of cleaning but hold liquid just fine.
9) lots of little parts inculding the plastic T for the wipers.
10) Dash data plates minus serial number plate, missing on this jeep.
Other than the windshield frame all other body parts are shot, I guess you could save the front fenders if you wanted to, the hood is good except for the hinge is broken, easy to fix, hard to ship. I think I may keep the grill, mine has a slight bend in one corner this one does not. |

I am looking for a small body part, the passenger side guide for the canvas soft top. It is right under the windshield frame, mounted on the side of the tub. Thanks _________________ Mario

Bill,
Did that jeep have the data plate dash with the large hole in the dash? Did it have the early or late horn?
Does it have the early or late steering box? I am interested in a late M38 steering box. _________________ Ryan Miller

It does have the large hole in the dash. Will be figuring out which steering box soon, you are not the only one that wants one. |
