Am 41, two kids and live in Switzerland, I enjoy vintage 4x4s.

I am running an olivedrab 1970 Kaiser 24v Swissarmy Jeep as a daily driver.

She is all original, NDP tires, softtop, axe, gunrack, shovel, steelrope, heater, chains, 24 v wiring, M-plates. Flashlight/holder, rustfree and has a blue motorpool replacement engine with 10k km on it.

This was one off the last Jeeps to enter service and subsequently one of the last that got DM by the army.

Welcome Wakaba. Greetings from southeast Texas. Is Wakaba you name or just your internet handle.

Hello,
Sounds like you have a M606A3. Do post some photos for us. Also please take a few moments to complete our group's M606 series survey.

Do your data plates look like these?

Thank you very much for the warm welcome.
Real name is Olivier or Ollie.

I guess I own a M606, like in the picture. Here its commonly referred to as M38 (who knows why?). I remember them from service as command-car, convoy-support-cars, radio-car and equipped with antitankguns.

I will take some pictures inside an out.

Probably because they very much resemble the US Army's M38A1. The M606 was a high hood flat fender jeep and the M606A2 was the same jeep as in the previous post without the added 24 volt auxiliary electrical system for the radios and the M606A3 was the jeep in the photo in the prior post.

M606 (military version of CJ3B) Primarily an export unit. (about 1960 thru 1968)

M606A2 (Military version of the CJ5 with standard 12 volt system) (Export Unit) (about 1964 thru 1971)

M606A3 (Military version of the CJ5 with the basic 12 volt vehicle electrical system and an add-on 24 volt auxiliary system for radios.) (Primarily an export unit.) (about 1964 thru 1971)

M38A1 Designed and built as a strictly military unit with all 24 volt waterproof electrical and waterproof ignition.) (The civilian CJ5 was a development from the M38A1) (1952 thru 1968)

CJ5 civilian takeoff from the M38A1 produced from 1955 thru 1983.
