You might try MWM, AJP, or Peter DeBella. I just bought one from Peter (haven't gotten it yet, but it is on the way). Their prices are comparable. Peter has both the double chamber ones (requires core) and the glass bowl type (no vacuum chamber, but can see fuel flow). I am not sure about the others, but I am sure they will be more than happy to talk to you
On the other hand, oil in the exhaust sounds suspiciously (sp?) like a gasket problem to me, but I am just a dumb electrician. . . _________________ I SWEAR it said Tab A went into Slot B!

A leaking fuel pump vent cavity usually looses a little oil through the vent hole in the middle of its body and allows the PVC system to suck it through the vacuum side of the pump if that chamber developes a leak to the center vent cavity. If the fuel pump side of the pump developes a leak to the vent caviyt in the center you will find fuel rapidly thinning out the oil in your oil sump.
The best bargain out there on a rebuilt dual action M38 fuel pump is Then & Now http://www.then-now.com/ _________________ Wes K

Does Pete have a kit to rebuild the entire fuel pump or just half? I have not decided if I am going to attempt a rebuild or send mine in. How much is the rebuild kit?

Hi, I believe it was 45.00 but I am afraid of a rebuild as I could have other problems after reading the THEN AND NOW site on rebuilding... seems that sending it in to get a rebuild done would be the smartest way to go for a novice.... good luck.. craig |

You're probably right. Last time I checked it was about $125 from Then & Now to rebuild the fuel pump. Then add another $20 shipping. That price is pretty reasonable to have some one who knows what they are doing rebuild my fuel pump. |
