Hi all

I was just wondering what the copper vent pipe work rubbing strips were made out of ( small material sections on engine block and firewall attachment clips) and, can you still get it today.

What you are looking for is braided asphalt laden cloth loom.It can be purchased at WWW.restorationstuff.com/rsc26.pdf.There is a ton of neat hard to find stuff here. It takes a while to download.Merry Christmas,
