Where can you find these? I called around to a few different places in Supply Line with no luck. I've got a cable for an M416, but I want it to be right. My M100 has the receptacle mounted on the trailer. Also, can you still get the drain plug bracket? I remember a few years back you could, but forgot who had them.

Thanks - Matt

Matt,

I have seen the ends for the cables (both the shell and the plug) at Saturn Surplus. If you get them, you could make your own, if you were also able to get some cable (LS7SGU-4 or equivalent -- that's a 7 conductor, 14 AWG marine cable, unatmored, with silicon-glass impregnated insulation). It is pretty flexible, and not too expensive. You might check out Midwest Military for the plug brackets. John seems to have just about EVERYTHING, and knows where to get what he doesn't.

Good Luck
Sam

I bought a cable with one end on it off ebay and then bought another end and made my own... real easy to do...

You can just buy a replacement cable from Saturn and buy another end and there you go... I believe the coonecots on the jeep are males (Pins sticking out) and the cable needs two females... They use pins A thru G straight thru

Hope this helps

According the parts list the cable uses a different plug parts on each end. Saturn use to stock both plugs assemblies. The rubber housing and door are the same.

Thanks Guys!

I checked Saturn Surplus's site - looks like $38.50 for a replacement cable (aren't the M100 cables longer than the 60" M416? The 72" cables are the same price), and $38 for the plug kit - a little pricey, but at least it will be correct! Anybody have a source for the drain plug bracket?

Thanks - Matt

Saturn Surplus has the late stye single end cable. I got my early double end cable from Army Jeep Parts a couple of years ago.
