Errant - if you can find one, the M17 50 cal. ammo box fits perfectly, is roughly the same size and the lid opens in the correct direction. I use one on my M100 - just removed the leather handle from the top, filled the handle holes, painted and bolted on - Sonny

That's 12x8x6, right? Is that the same size as the original cable box? I have two of the new 50 cal cans that fit between the brackets just right, but both have broken latches Sad

Don't know for sure but I was parked beside a jeep with an M100 on Veteran's Day with original box and just looking at his and mine they looked the same - wish I had a tape measure with me so I could know for sure - Sonny
