I am sure this question has been asked, but I could not find it in the forums. I would love to get rid of the oil in the oil bath filter, on my M38. Is there a way to convert to paper element, and if so what is the best way to go? I see there are conversion kits for the MB, but I understand it can be done for a reasonable price. Any suggestions? Thank you

On that old post showing the two different ways of putting a papper filter in the m38, there was a picture of a fram filter that looked to fit much easier. I went to the local parts store with that FRAM part # CA2663A and no luck, its a bad # or not offered here in the states.

Does anyone have the correct part #?

Thanks
Keith

Yep, that's a European number:
