I have for sale one NOS IV Cable for the M416 trailer, it has the rubber packard connectors for the wiring harness. This wiring harness is fresh and supple stored in my war room not the garage. Ready to install on your trailer. $35 plus shipping to your location, this weighs 4 lbs. shipping from seven three five four three zip.

It would also be correct for a motor pool class M100 since the services upgraded many M100's to the packard setup.

Could a person not remove the Packard connectors and replace them with the correct Douglas connectors to make it just a bit more correct for the M100 trailer?
I have done this with the headlights that come originally with the Packard connectors.

Yes any of the Douglas and Packards connectors can be converted back and forth. Generally in the 60's and on when the US military upgraded a M38A1 or M37 or M100 to a new harness they would usually get the new style Packard rubber connectors which were less maintenance intense and tended to match most of the newer vehicle harnesses in the field. Commonality being a great selling point here. The M37 and M38A1 after 58 were equipped new from the factory with the rubber Packard connectors so in their cases that eliminated the need for stocking two different harnesses for each vehicle.
