Does anyone have good pics or dimensional drawings for the vacuum lines coming from the fuel pump on a m38? I have a set of new lines that I got from Hal but they are not bent. I want to bend mine up as original. The various manual photos don't show all the angles very well. Also, if anyone has some takeoff lines they are willing to sell or lone for a pattern I would be interested.
Thanks.

Bending the lines - best view is in TM9-8012, Page 124, figure 32.

If your fenders are not on (?) and engine is in the frame, just add bends and follow the figure...

This is how I did mine back in the day...

Just take your time and use a bending tool to prevent crimping the lines...

Hope this helps...

Here are a couple of pictures of an RMC crate engine that was for sale a couple of years back. I copied the pictures and have been using the crap out of the pictures ever since.

Thanks for the help. I got them bent and fitted. They don't quite look like the pics but they are functional. Did anyone ever find a good source for the 652x4 female branch tee for the drivers side wiper?

Ask Ryan to start a photo gallery for you. Then uploading photos is super easy.

That looks good. Where did you purchase the T fitting and the s clips to hold the vacuum lines together?

I cobbled the Tee together from parts at a NAPA. I just happened to find one S clip hanging on a motor from another junk M38 I have. I think Midwest Mil. has got some now. I thought I saw them in one of they're adds recently. I may have found a correct Tee but I won't know for a couple of days. Thanks for the thumbs up.

You can buy the boxes of 50 for the S clips at Fastenall or spayner, they are around 20 dollars.
