This is my first post on the forums. I'm hoping you all can help me identify this restored trailer that I recently purchased. I still have not picked it up - I can only go by pictures.

The seller claimed that it is a restored M100 or M416 - he is not sure which. The bed has been replaced, the entire trailer had been sandblasted, primed, and covered in Rhino bedliner. Any help is much appreciated! Hopefully the thumbnail link works. Thanks!

Brian,

Saw your posting and I believe this to be a civiian trailer. Reason is the stake pockets on the inside top of the trailer. The Military trailers did not have these...

Also with the photos posted I cannot see the A frame that the tounge attaches to... if if is an M-100 then there will be half round cut outs in the frame... a 416 will have no cut outs and a WWII will have them in the shape of a V...

Another reason to think it is a civilian trailer is the M-100 should have handles welded to the corners of the trailer halfway between the top and bottom... given the WWII and 416 did not have them...

Hope this helps...
