Looked like a very nice show. The USMC M38 went a wee bit overboard on markings. Was the fellow selling scrap airframes?

Oopps,

It turned out to be a good day for the show and I was able to meet up with a couple of Mjeeps members too.
Airframes and engines keep piling up at the museum. Someday they will have to run a yard sale.

Wow! Only 77 numbers apart. Does the M38 (Hood 20909887) in the first photo from the Quonset NAS show belong to a member? Trying to learn more about the history of my Jeep (Hood 20909964). The numbers are close and it also appears to be in New England. I believe mine came out of a Massachusetts National Guard unit. Please post or PM me if you know more. Thanks!
