Obscure part in NOS packing

As parts get harder and harder to find in their original NOS packing and I know I can't be the only one that gets a thrill about opening a 50 year old box to find a perfect part, what is the most obscure or interesting part you have found in the original 1950's packaging?

For me, just the standard found parts. The one that still eludes me is an emergency brake cable. I was able to find the rubber gaskets that go under the floor drain covers still in their original packaging.

I bought the front grill marker lights still in the package (kind of a can) a few years ago.

I don't know if they are rare or not, but they weren't cheap!

A friend of mine named Jeff Berger over the last 15 years has been collecting NOS packaged M38 parts dated from 1950-1953.

I think he just about has a complete M38 NOS in the packages.

I imagine he doesn't open the packaging. Man, I don't know if I could do that. I like to handle the parts too much. I would almost have to buy two, one to open and the other to store away.

I have a few WWII militeria items in the original packings that I struggle with.

Yes, he has a difficult time not opening them!

I told him he should donate the stuff to a museum some day.

Er lets see.
I don't think any of this suff is rare or hard to come by but,
for the M38, a carb, plug leads, douglas gauges except the ammeter (no surprise), gearstick rubber gater, double lip seal for the transfer box, the top hat dust / seal covers that go over the oil seals on the rear axle, windscreen wiper motors, carb and fording cables, all standard stuff, lots of it interchangeable with other m sereies.
But on my wish list,
the tub drain plugs, grommets and dash plugs, regulator, light dip switch, radio lead and recepticle, steering wheel, complete handbrake cable and of course, bumper filler, in its crate a ramsey winch.

I think mine would be the 25 amp generator, right out of the can with the generator still bolted to the wooden block that sits in the bottom of the can. Or, the voltage regulator still in its original packaging

I was just now fortunate enough to get a NOS generator still in the original box.
