Chuck, yes they are. When I purchased the jeep they were there and filled with bolts with nuts like those found on the manifold studs.

I think the jeep was once installed with a heater kit as that is what the holes were for. So, in an attempt to keep a link to its past life, I left the holes and filled them with the bolts.

That's interesting. Is that an orignal gas tank or one of the new repro ones? It looks like it's in great shape.

That is an original tank (not to this jeep) but, one I picked up from a fellow selling it because he found an NOS tank for his project.

It really is in excellent shape and I got it at a great price.
