Every post on this thread has the email Icon at the bottom of the dialog box. I am using both IE and Google Chrome and they appear on both of my browsers.

I also am using Mozilla Firefox and don't see email buttons on anyone in this thread except Wes. I see a profile button on everyone and when I click on those I see nothing in the email line except in Wes's profile. I also see PM buttons on everyone. I note that I have my profile set at "NO" on Always show my Email.

I have to agree with everyone else on this thread Wes. I'm using Chrome and NO email button on the bottom of anyone's message with the exception of yours and that goes for every message I see in every forum. I'm sure it's a setting issue on one end or the other.

Ahh Haa!!! I am logged on as a "Site Administrator" which is why I see all emails. My bad!

On this same note since we all seem to notice that when listing parts it is nice to have an email addy showing how come none of you allow your email to show? We are a group of like interested folks without the hand full of clowns from the G503 site that start all those squabbles so we should not see any harm in posting our emails.

I won't try and force the issue but it is more sociable. I can also see where the web site and it's members loose out on the sharing part when we take a topic off the board and go to private email with it. Of course that was what the PM function was for, so those that needed a little privacy to hash out a fine point on an issue could do it off the board yet the rest did not get left out in left field when the entire post went private.

Good point Wes, we're all of similar interests and not show-boaters or spot-light rangers so showing our email address shouldn't be an issue.

If you choose to post an email address in your ad, without the usage of the button, you should "space it out" to avoid spam bots and crawlers from locating it.

Thus (already dying due to said bots so I don't have a problem using this as an example):

bikemancs@gmail.com

should end up more like

bikemancs @ gmail.com -or- bikemancs at gmail .com etc....
