This is not the best solution but I couldn't find a source for the correct tubing (except in a 50 ft. roll) - I used pre-formed brake lines available at the local auto store, came with the correct ends, just had to bend it up and attach. If you have a flare tool you can shorten if needed. The problem with brake line tubing is that it is very stiff and will make it hard to set timing unless it is unhooked. A minimal problem but it got the job done and if and when I find the correct tubing, it will be replaced.

Good substitute in both performance and aesthetics.
Though, not as bright as the orig copper plated steel tubes but close enough.

Copper plated soft steel tubing was original. If you look closely in the ORD 9 parts manual you'll see that field replacement was approved using copper tubing and the dimensions and part numbers for that copper tubing are listed.

Disconnecting the two tubes from the distributor when making timing adjustments was the norm and was not a problem.
