Does anyone sell a good rebuild kit for the M38?

I see that Kaiser Willys list one, however I have read some rather questionable post about the quality of their parts.

http://www.kaiserwillys.com/category/willys-jeep-steering-gear-box-repair-parts-accessories/2

Can anyone weigh in on this with first hand knowledge about the fit of their parts kit?

Pat

I can't say about Kaiser's kit but I bought one from Walcks a couple of years ago and the ball bearing for the bottom of the worm shaft was very rough. In fact the race for that bearing did not even have a rounded track for the little balls. I wound up using the old bearing which was much smoother. The rest of the kit was fine.

Thanks for the heads up, I will have to phone Walcks to see if they have addressed the bearing issue.
