Saw it when it aired. I posted a couple weeks ago when someone was talking about a transmission issue asking about the vendor they used in CA that had "new" rebuilt transmissions.
I was wondering who their vendors were and if the price they paid in CA was a realistic or inflated price.
Thanks.

In the episode, the gentleman said there are no new tranny's available and all are rebuilds. Anyone know who this suppliers is in California he visited? I assume they didn't list the name for various reasons. They did it for all the products they used. It looks like they used a MDJuan floor, it has that horrible red primer they use. _________________ Brett

the one who sold the jeep is Terry O'Connor (classic military automotive , santa rosa ca 1707 542-4353 ). the guy with the tranny is Mike Stopforth (mikes military motors, santa rosa ca 707 571-1146 ).
see both of them at our northern california MVCC meets. their good guys.
PS...everything is more expensive here in CA ! _________________ '51 M38 #22936,
