OK, more questions (sorry Wes) It looks to be required spacers for the jerry can mount. I think in the past I saw this mentioned. I have spent to many duckets on the Jeep already so if there are spacers what are they made from, maybe I can fabricate some up and have more money for the fuel tank !

These defenitly look like something I cam make. Yes, I'll use aluminum round stock. One more thing to do ! The stress is on, Tower Park is around the corner

The only problem with aluminum is dissimilar metal corrosion. If you prime the new spacers with zinc-chromate or zinc-phosphate and finish coat them to match the jeep then use cadmium plated bolts you should have no short term corrosion problems. _________________ Wes K
