Does anyone know the reason for the notches in the brake light switch?

The one in the center has two notches on lower side of the shoulders, I was wondering if this had any significance?

Hi Pat,

Andy sent me this info

LEFT HAND THREAD BOLTS AND SCREWS
Bolts and screws with left-hand thread shall be marked with symbols shown either on the
top of the head or on the point. Marking is required for bolts and screws with nominal
thread diameter 5 mm and larger.

The left threaded markings does not apply to the photo's switches. They are all three right threaded.
