Found this gem in Albuquerque. Been sitting in the desert for 30 years.

Nice find!
I see it got sandblasted for free, too. _________________ Owen

Looks like a good starting point for restoration. What year? |

Somewhere between 1954 and 1956. I'm not sure. I'll have to check the title of this thread. Hehehe. |

Gotta love desert finds. Sat outside for years and the floors still look good. _________________ '53 M38A1 X2 |

Oops! They left the switch on, probably run the battery down! _________________ Dean Williams

Finally got the 55 home and into the garage. As a bonus I got half of the New Mexican desert, hooray for shopvac! The engine turns and the oil is liquid. the tank is a dry and there is some rust in there but no flakes or holes. Ditched the nasty roll bar and seats. Bubba cut the backs off the seat frames and bolted car seats on, sigh. Battery box is present and rust free.
Got the Tank out and found a nasty fiberglass patch in the pan. Lazy Bubbas!
