Ok. I've searched this site and google. It seems that I am looking for TM9-804A for servicing information. Is this correct? Or am I looking for a lubrication chart? I'm basically wanting something that tells me what type of oil/grease to put in each part that needs it. I am ready to put my rear springs on, but wanted to get differential oil in it first. I can't find in the manual what type of oil this differential likes. Any thoughts or am I just being retarded?

I don't know where I got this from, but it is helpful. I have it taped to the wall next to my Jeep. Also, page 60 and 61 of TM9-8014 have a lube chart.

If that is what you are looking for, I can email an easier to read version. The TM has a similar chart though. Also with some instructions.

TM 9-804A is the early M38A1 Operator & Maintenance Manual. TM 9-8014 is the later version. Both manuals contain a copy of the lube chart and lubricant list. Civilian lube charts do not always agree with the military lube charts.

Most of the M38A1 manuals are right here on our downloads page.
