I measure 9/16-inch, center of the hole to the edge of the wheelhouse.

Recommend care with the leading edge of the rear loop.......there's a brace underside close by.

And just to be clear, I'm talking M38 here (not M38A1).

Not to spoil the party, but you know there's another loop on the outboard top side of the wheelhouse, in the rear, for the top bow stowage bracket?

One on each wheelhouse left and right side.

See Figure 35 on page 316 of TM9-8012.

I only mention them because you said you have virgin wheelhouses.

Already had those done after finding this old topic thread ~ Just couldn't find the measurements for the rest of the missing loops.
