A few months ago Oilleaker 1, John, and RickG, Rick, posted about broken Omni Ada.
When rebuilding my Ross steering box I was concerned because I needed a sector shaft but was hesitant to purchase the aftermarket Crown or Omni Ada ones. I was not able to find anything else on line.
Recently I called Brent Mullins and found that he has NOS sector shafts for the M38. I picked one up today and the cost was comparable with what I saw for the Crown and Omni Ada ones.
I feel much better putting my box back together with these sector shafts and wanted to let anyone else who is in need of one that NOS ones are still available. I not saying that on one else has the NOS ones, I just happen to have found them at Mullins.

Good for you! I'm glad you saw the warning. Early M38's were 7/8 and later were 15/16. It's the 7/8 ones to watch. Very bad carma when one of those crappy sectors breaks. Makes you feel threatened. We recently also saw a post here of a Omix Ada fuel line cracking. One must not trust off shore made stuff. They have poor quality control. When anyone finds out the particular part they installed is a threat, please post your findings. It's a great help to all our Jeep friends. I appreciate it also. John
