Hi out there in the Jeep-land
my two questions are as follows:
Is it normal that my oil pressure gauge is whipping a little bit (1 Milimeter)?
Second question is:
I´ve got a used gear box from a friend which was formely installed in a WW2 Jeep. As that guy removed the gear box he sadly pulled out the drive shaft an I think all the gear wheels sliped out.
Can I simply stick them together ? Or are they connected in a special way?
They guy told me that the gear box was running fine and with no noise before...
Needle fluctuation on the electric military gauges can be a bad indicator or a worn/loose connection including a loose instrument panel grounding.
A WWII gearbox would not be a T90. If the WWII jeep had been converted to a T90 then it should work ok for you. It will depend on which shaft he removed and which gears and/or needle bearings fell out of place. _________________ Wes K
