does the m38 cowl battery tray drain go inboard or outboard. fits either way just trying to get it right. thanks, Jay

those pictures are of a m38a1 mine is a m38 with just a single battery in the cowl. thanks Wes for your response, I use this site for most if not all of my many questions. Jay

Jay,
The cowl drain hose hole in the dash is to the outboard side of the vehicle, and the box.

Sorry about that. Well the easiest way to describe which way it goes is to tell you look closely at the battery hold down rod sockets. Notice they are not centered. Install the tray so the both hold down rod sockets are towards the dash.
