|

well I'm having issue's with assembly of the hand brake pads and various parts.
there are two springs one with j hooks on both ends, the other has a j hook on one end and kind of a l hook on the other, I'm not sure which goes to what end. also there is a cable link clip where does that go?
do you just run the adjusters up to the brake pads? I found one photo that is telling me I have the pads in correct but there really isn't much on these other parts.
thanks in advance for any help or point me in the right direction |

I checked out the manuals and didn't really find what I was looking for. Most likely not looking in the right place with my luck.
I have 3 springs, one larger one that I know is for putting tension on it I believe for a return. but the other 2 I'm not sure of, and what holds the pads in place?
I'm missing the boat on this one. |

here is what I'm looking at. .
I was missing the tension screws (which are now in place item 2)
Is part 1 suppose to be connected to the brake pad?
here is the other side
the unit did not have one on it when I got it so I have nothing to reference as how it goes back together. Doesn't something have to hold the brake pads in place?
which holes are used for the springs?
I'm lost in brake land............ |

Thanks wes 2 of the photos I have seen before and left me wondering. but the other 2 did the trick, the straight on view is just what I needed.
big thank you for this info.
The manuals are a big help and I have learned a lot from them, but sometimes they leave a little lacking when it comes to finding what your looking for.......and it doesn't help when I don't know what I'm look for either!!!!! |
