Ok I will work on getting dropbox accessible, and I was kind of thinking it was civilian. The headligths connectors and insode the heaslight area everything is BEAUTIFUL no rust in there, original olive drab that look like it was just painted. It is amazing. All the connections are good.

You are right, the insides of your buckets are amazingly clean
including the connectors.

You also have several potentially expensive parts intact including
24 volt generator, distributor and voltage regulator, starter,
as well as aur cleaner and what appears to be the correct carburetor.

On the other hand the inside of that radiator hose does not look
great.

If you are planning on spending much more time climbing
around on the front of the engine do yourself a favor and
remove the radiator guard (grille). You unhook the light wires
and remove from the guard, unbolt the three screws on either
side of the fenders and the whole thing folds down forward right
into your lap. If you raise it up to about 35 degrees you can lift it up
and out of the slots on the hinges that are bolted to the frame
and set it in the work bench.

Sorry I didn't catch it before you pulled the rad.

Yep, I know it hinges, I just need to disconnect the wires. Also I am going to replace all the hoses, eventually.

Do you plan on bringing it to the 4th event? I think it would be neat to see it there in its current state, just to show people. It deserves to be there Very Happy

From the other side of the tracks,

Yeah Brett, That is part of the reason why I have not done a whole lot of work on it. I wanted to try to get it running though, I am not sure if that will happen though. Depending on running condition, I might put in parade... But probably not.

If I were you, I'd be a little apprehensive running it in the parade at this point. Not knowing all its quirks and no good shakedown runs before hand, it would be no fun breaking down in front of the folks. I do admire your optimism though!. At least be get it to Scera park for that event.

That's custom work. Maybe the front end took a hit at one time and they mangled the frame ends so they just blocked it up like that.

I wish I could figure out how to copy your images over. I cant figure out how to copy the url for the .JPG on your photo hosting site.

Looks like the original front 3" of the rails have been chopped off and those heavy solid additions added. You have your work cut out for you.
