FYI I just bought a VERY original '53 M38A1. It still has the original military rims on it with NDT tires. The tire are OLD and they LOOK original too. (It's raining cats and dogs at the moment of I'd go look for the dates on the tires.) Interesting thing to me was that one tire is a Firestone, one is a Goodyear, one is a Thoroughbred by Dayton and the other is a Tactical CC by US Royal. I didn't know I was buying a tire collection when I bought the Jeep!
