after months cleaning and rebuilding, re cleaning the old carb I bought a Solex Viewed: 232 times.

even added a filter and pressure regulator - still ran like s--t - order an electric fuel pump after I found I wasn't getting pressure - dummy, did I check the tank - no! The line from the tank dripped a drop a minute - the tank had 2 inch of Ethanol sludge. Viewed: 239 times.

It took months to get this frozen dist out - penetrating oil did nothing - finally it was a large pipe wrench, a 6 ft cheater bar and sledge hammer and a lot of cussing - needless to say the dist was toast Viewed: 244 times.

Bought an electronic dist - difficult to tell when the advance is correct Viewed: 224 times.

Winter 2013 - reconfigured the dash into a M38 dash, added and installed a hand brake, added the cowling battery lid. Also rebuilt the steering box bushings Viewed: 226 times.

Spring 2013 - painted (after a new Solex carb, an electronic dist and an electric fuel pump it runs better but still not right) Viewed: 208 times.

I had to fabricate the tail light pockets and re-install the tail light with Gama Goat lens which are much safer on the road. Viewed: 244 times.
