Bradish

transpixel This version of a Jeep (the Bee Line Express), drove me crazy. I can't find a variant remotely similar. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. It is not a Dodge WC-51. My Dad & I think it was field expedient modification of a regular sized Jeep. A Jeep with an extended cab. The extended portion was probably filled with parts, etc. Note the angle iron in the center of the hood, my grandfather told me this was to cut wires strung neck level across the road, when the windshield was folded down. Note also "pocket" compartment immediately behind front wheel well; it has a handled tool sticking out. Note also, the stretcher strapped to the right side of the vehicle. Bourke Cassius Bradish, Tech Sergeant, 131st Maintenance Battalion, 9th Armored Division. THE 16 H on the bumper could mean temporary attachment to the 16th Field Artillery Headquarters, an organic unit of the 9th Armored Division. transpixel
