| Description | : | Here is my 'finished' M38. It came a long way the last 57 years. Served in the Army on Fort Stewart, Georgia, bird watching vehicle on Sapelo Island off the Georgia coast, hunting Jeep in Pembroke Georgia and 'retirement' to Mr. Newsome's junkyard in Statesboro, Georgia. I don't know how long it rested there, but in May of 2003, one grazy guy came by and decided to buy the wreck. Engine did not turn over, not a single seat inside the vehicle, tailgate missing, windshield busted out, floors rusted and non of the original 24 volt components left. A real basket case! |
