Interesting to see that the M38 appears to have the hot water heater installed on it. I see the intake cut out by the axe head.

I've had good luck with having the pump rebuilt by a reputable re-builder.

I saw that AJP has them but it doesn't say which size hole it has, and if you go by their picture it looks as if it's the .070 also ...

Wes thanks for the reply. I used the M series gauge trouble shooting guide that I have seen. The static voltages, (eng off), were the first readings of 25 volts. I think I have 1 volt meter in my spare parts. I'll have to give it a try. I'll review the troubleshooting in the referenced TB. Thank you.

Voltage not running on wire 8 and 9 on the back of the ammeter- 25 volts.
Voltage running on wire 8 and ...

Did you install the felt dust seals on the flange? Sometimes you can get a real thick felt seal and when you tighten the flange down it will cause a bind.

You pressurize the system then look for the leaking coolant. If you suspect the distributor boss you will need to remove the distributor then look down inside the hole where the distributor was. With the system pressurized you will see water coming out in that hole.
