Good site

Its certainly a telling archive of photos, , once you start looking it becomes compelling to see whats next. I have some photos on my web site www.gijive.co.uk of GI's based at Bridport ready for the off, stories of what happened to them as well, sadly ofcourse many did not return.

I'd like to see a pic Dave, the clothing side is one of my interests, wish I had your guy here in Yeovil, I sent off to a guy on e-bay for my M-65 in US, its a good one but it cost me, customs got hold of that one! I had one back at collage but wore it to death in the 1980's when I got a job ...

The sound of the Mustang as it dives out the sky over your jeep, hot sunshine on your face. The gorgous wing walker dismouting from the Stearman wing in tight cat suit! See my latest pics of Branscombe airday in the gallery!

Rope track

I would like to buy a rope track, the part that holds the canvas roof to the windshield on an M38A1

Has anyone got on going spare or know where I might get one. Wildenberg have them but messed me around so I feel like getting one elsewhere.

Swiss Army jeeps

Good to see some photos, the 24 volt one would be an M606A2 and the normal 12 volt M606A1's like mine. The mirrors don't work when you have the screen flat, I changed mine to a lower mounted one, so I could drive with the wind in my hair. I don't think the SWiss Army ever took ther roof down, the ...

M38A1 with Jeep written on the side?

I was admiring the superb Luciano Marchetti jeep in the gallery section when I noticed that it has Jeep written on the side like my CJ5. It is clearly an M38a1 does the addition of the jeep logo make it a later model?

PS I should get out more
