I could be wrong but I don't think there is a crush seal. Just remove yoke and replace seal, replace yoke after checking seal contact area for wear.

When I was doing my body rebuild I found that the floor pan metal was 16ga. I don't remember where I found the information and at this late date don't know where I might have noted it. I noticed your comment about the disc brake conversion supplied by Brennan's with the suzuki rotors and calipers. Have you done the conversion? I kind of thought the 16" wheels would not have a problem fitting without an offset. Just curious, looking for some info about doing the conversion ...
